Engineer Salvatore Monaco began his activity in the marine and mechanical engineering sector in Genoa in 1985; in 1991 he moved the headquarter to Cagliari (Sardinia), in close contact with professional groups in Italy and abroad.

In addition to marine/ yacht design, MONACONAVI provides consulting services regarding the safety of maritime workers, as well as the courts for naval arbitration, insurance assessments and lifting and lashing equipment for ships.

In the last decade the firm handles environmental aspects connected to the port sector, making green shipping a top priority.
Engineer Salvatore Monaco was NES RINA till 2016. He is also a Port Facility Security Officer (PFSO). From January 2019 Salvatore Monaco is certified with ISO 9001: 2015 – QMS to provide design in naval engineering, mechanical engineering and yachting, along with marine and yachting expert advice.
