Eng. MONACO collaborates with shipyards to construct yachts in order to obtain the GREEN PLUS (Y) class notation.

This voluntary notation is issued by RINA on the basis of environmental performance, and is an index which covers all aspects of a vessel’s environmental impact, including its carbon emissions.

The new class notation is applied to new constructions that make significant investments in design solutions, on board equipment, and operational procedures that contribute to the improvement of environmental performance, in addition to the minimum levels required by international environmental protection regulations.

This tool allows MONACONAVI to guarantee sufficient in-built flexibility to allow designers to chose the most appropriate environmentally friendly instruments, subject to achieving an assigned environmental index value.
